This hotel was a real gem. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with a large, comfortable bed and a full-sized fridge. The location was amazing, very near the night market and the bus station, yet despite being in a central location, it was very quiet. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the surprise breakfast, although simple, set us up for the day. The common area had a nice ambiance with water features, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was impressive.
No improvements needed, everything was great.

We had a comfortable stay in a spacious family room at Baanmalai Guest House. The room was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds. The location was convenient, with a good view towards the mountain. The staff were friendly and could speak English, Thai, and Chinese. We also appreciated the option to rent scooters at an affordable price. Despite being centrally located, the area was surprisingly quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere. we would recommend Baanmalai Guest House for a comfortable and quiet stay.
